According to the BBC, 72-year-old Ludwigssen was convicted of abusing the powers and vulnerable position of asylum seekers. From 2011 to 2017, he offered three men status, housing and work in exchange for sexual services, while one of them had a “slight mental breakdown”.

The politician himself did not admit his guilt — he said that he really had sex with one of the plaintiffs, but by mutual consent, and he sees the other two for the first time. Nevertheless, the court sentenced him to a real term and a fine of $ 87,000 in favor of the victims.
